Last Minute Weekend Events

Are you looking for holiday events to take part in through the month of December?  Check out my Holiday Event Page for ideas/links.  Here are some new ones for this weekend!

  • Winterfair – December 4 -6, 2009 at the Ohio Expo Center.  With over 400 artisans will be selling their wares – you’ll likely be able to cross some names off of your holiday list.
  • Shop Clintonville Holiday Open House – December 5, 2009 – Most stores in the North High Street area will have sales and special events throughout the day.
  • Free December Holiday Tasting  - Saturday, December 5, 2009 from 3 – 5 p.m. at Whole Foods on West Lane.  Sample from departments will be available all over the store. 
  • BriHi Holiday Celebration – December 5, 2009 – Shops in Historic Dublin will have holiday sales, and events include a gingerbread house silent auction for charity, afternoon trolley rides, and a chili cook-off. 
  • North Market Holiday Open House & Craft Extravaganza – December 5, 2009 from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. and December 6 from noon to 5 p.m. – 45 local artisans will be selling their creations on the second floor of the North Market.  There will also be Christmas tree sales, music, samples, roasted chestnuts, and other activities. 
  • Bexley Festival of Arts – December 5, 2009 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Montrose Elementary will host more than 40 visual and performing artists 40 visual and performing artists from local  communities.  There will be holiday shopping, free children’s art activities and a Kid’s Gift Gallery of homemade goods made by children. 

Dec. 6:

  • Village Lights – December 6, 2009 from 6 – 10 p.m. German Village will be aglow this evening during which businesses and restaurants will be open late and offering discounts and holiday treats.  There will be carolers, horse-drawn carriage rides, live holiday music and more.
    German Village’s shops and restaurants are open late (‘til 10 p.m.) and neighborhood lights are bright.
