The Central Ohio Polar Bear Plunge at Crew Stadium is this Saturday, February 20, 2010, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. The Columbus Zoo’s Polar Patrol will have animals, zoo activities, Polly Polar Bear, and other character ambassadors on hand to celebrate the Polar Plungers!
Want to take the plunge? Adult Polar Plungers must pledge at least $75 to participate, while high school and college students need to have $50 in pledges. The Zoo will give all Polar Plungers a Zoo t-shirt and a pass to see the real polar bears once the Polar Frontier is open.
