Check out the neighborhoods of Columbus with the Bike the C-Bus Bicycle Tour on Saturday, September 4, 2010. The tour begins at Lincoln Theatre at 9 a.m. You’ll ride about 30 miles through King Lincoln District, Woodland Park, Olde Town East, Downtown, Short North Arts District, Italian Village, Harrison West, Victorian Village, Arena District, Franklinton, Brewery District and German Village. There will be stops through the ride sponsored by businesses and community groups who will provide snacks and drinks for the riders. The ride is split into 4 segments and riders can choose to stop at any point if they wish.
The registration fee for Bike the C-Bus is $25 per adult. One child age 6-12 is free with each paying adult. The registration fee includes child’s helmet if needed, lunch at Hospitality Area and the Official 2010 Long Street Tour T-Shirt. Any additional child age 6-12 is $10. Children 5 and under are always free. A portion of the proceeds are donated to local charities. Click here to register!
I really wish I had a bike to do this event – it seems like a lot of fun. Don’t forget, this is the last free Saturday before much of Columbus gets swept up with Buckeye Football!
