The Columbus Rose Club will be holding their annual Rose Show in the shelter house at Park of Roses on Saturday, June 9, 2012, from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. This FREE event will feature 11,500 roses in bloom, along with herb and perennial gardens across 13 acres of the park. The Columbus Rose Club annual rose show exhibition open to the public after 1:00 pm, after the judging commences.
Rosarians and horticulturists will be on hand to answer questions on the selection, planting and care of roses, perennials and herbs. Artists will be capturing the beauty of the gardens with live oil and watercolor paintings, and there will be music throughout the gardens.
Beverages, sandwiches and pastries available for purchase from Mozart’s Bakery and ice cream from Vienna Ice Cafe
