St. Patrick's Day 2010

Fadó Irish Pub is hosting their 10th consecutive St. Patrick’s Day celebration in Columbus and the week of festivities begins on March 10, 2010, with the Guinness Perfect Pint Contest and wraps up on St. Patty’s Day with their HUGE celebration!

Wednesday, March 10 @ 7 p.m. – Guinness Perfect Pint Contest – local pubs face off to see who can pour the most perfect pint.  Prizes and good times.

Thursday, March 11 @ 7 p.m. – Jameson Whiskey Social – Chef Jason pairs the menu with Jameson whiskeys.  Reservation accepted by called 614-418-0066.  Space is limited.

Friday, March 12 @ 7 p.m. – Bailey’s Irish Cream Sampling Event – John Andrews performs live while you sample the Bailey’s.

Saturday, March 13 – beginning @ 11 a.m. – The partying begins with The Premier St Patrick’s Tent Party.  Enjoy the day in the large heated tent beginning with St. Baldrick’s Charity Event from 1 – 4 p.m.  Shave your head to support finding a cure for childhood cancer (or just watch if you aren’t brave enough).  Live music begins at 3:30 p.m. with a line-up of Blood, Sweat, and Beers, Irish Dancers, and Get in the Van.  And who else could be the headliner of such a fantastic event other than The Menus?!  Arrive before 5 p.m. to beat the $10 cover charge or purchase tickets online to save $3.

Sunday, March 14 – Get your fill of Live Six Nations Rugby and English Premier League Soccer while you enjoy (another) perfect pint and Fadó Brunch

Monday, March 15 @ 6 p.m. – Order a pint from the guest bartenders and stick around for the St. Patrick’s Day Pub Quiz at 8 p.m.

Tuesday, March 16 @ 6 p.m. – Pregame St. Patty’s Day with live music by The Drowsy lads at 6 p.m., Irish dancers from The Milennium School at 7 p.m., and Ladies of Longford headlining at 9 p.m.

Wednesday, March 17 – all day – St. Patrick’s Day in Columbus begins with Kegs and Eggs at 7 a.m.  Enjoy traditional Irish food all day, washed down with the appropriate beverage:  Booze.  You’ll have all the live music you could want with the following schedule:
9 a.m. – Blood, Sweat, and Beers
1 p.m. -  Homeland
3 p.m. – Katie’s Irish Dancers
3:30 p.m. – Mother Trucker Duo
7 p.m. – Soul Kitch’n
8:30 p.m. – The Websters
Headlining at 10:30 p.m. – Swagg

Tickets:
$5 cover until 4 p.m. (includes free breakfast until 10 a.m.)
$10 cover from 4 p.m.  – midnight

$12 in advance for March 13 and March 17 (21 and over after 5 p.m.)
