The Crawl for Cancer is coming to Columbus again on May 29, 2010. Gather your drinking team for this bar crawl in the Arena District. Teams will go to five bars at which they will be given tickets for 4 pitchers of beer. After the crawl, all participants are invited to The Lodge Bar for an after party with live music and free beer.
The registration fee for a team of 10 is $400 before April 17 and $450 until May 3, 2010, and includes team t-shirts and all of the beer! Registration opens on March 22 and is limited to the first 200 teams – this event sold out last year so get your registration in early!
This is the most fun you’ll ever have supporting cancer fighting charities!
Just a few more updates for this year’s event:
-This year’s benefitting charities include the American Cancer Society, i’m too young for this (a.k.a. i2y – a great organization that focuses on empowering young adults affected by cancer), and Michelle’s Fund (a foundation that supports cancer research in memory of a wonderful (and all too young) Gahanna teacher that lost her battle to cancer)
-350 teams (but last year we sold out in three weeks, just FYI)
-After Party locations also include Brother’s and Frog Bear
-Food drive supporting the Mid-Ohio Foodbank. Donate 10 cans of food and get a $10 cab voucher!
-3 new bars added this year in addition to the 10 from last year: Frog Bear, Gordon Biersch, and R Bar
