Having fun in Columbus doesn’t have to be expensive – but sometimes finding about free and cheap events and deals in the city can be a lot of work. My goal is to keep you informed of inexpensive ways to have fun in Columbus. Columbus is such a diverse city and while I try to post a variety of information that will appeal to many, I know I can’t find all of the deals in the little bit of free time that I have when I’m not working, playing volleyball, or having fun myself. After all, what’s the point about writing about good, cheap fun if I can’t enjoy all of the fun that is going on! I encourage readers to contact me with deals, events, and tips that they think should be featured on the site. While sometimes time limitations prevent me from being about to post about a last minute reader tip (see above: lack of time), I do my best to feature all that I can.
Columbus on the Cheap is part of a network of nearly 60 “On the Cheap” sites across the U.S., Canada, and tourist destinations of the Caribbean and Europe called Cities on the Cheap. If you’re taking a vacation or have relatives living in other cities, check to see if the cities are part of the network so you can save money whether you’re home or travelling!

Disclaimer: I post the deals as I find them and do my best to include any known limitations. But you know the drill: prices and promotions are subject to change at any time and without notice. Please check with the merchants if you are unsure if the deal will apply.
